Those meeting by zoom on Wednesday
- Took the decision that the second offerings plate – the community outreach plate – would be for donations to support the work of the Women’s Hub in Dundee. This would initially be for a year and subject to review thereafter.
- Discussed worship in June and July when Roseangle is unavailable. It was agreed that, if at all possible, a fortnightly pattern of meeting together be adopted, viz
- 1 June General Church Meeting united service in Perth
- join worship locally or with suggested congregation – June 8th, 23rd, July 5th, 20th
- gathering together on June 15, 29th, July 13th, 27th.
- resumption of worship in Roseangle – August 3rd
Various suggestions for venues and formats are being taken forward, including the Botanics, V&A, use of homes . Details of the ‘programme’ to follow asap.
- Noted that Andrew Baker’s last effective official appointment will be the commemoration of the ADP Circuit in Perth on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd August, also observed as his ‘farewell’. The Rev David Bidnell is expcted to move into the new Manse during July-August. A Service to mark the start of the Scotland Circuit and welcome incoming Ministers will be held on 31st August – location etc to be announced.
