organised by ScrapAntics CIC
Come and join us at our Sharing Stories exhibition for a chance to celebrate working together and enjoy the amazing creative skills of the ScrapAntics Family Club. Browse textile art created by women attending the Flourish group at Dundee International Women’s Centre.
They were supported by Glasgow based, Iranian artist Paria Moazemi Goodarzi to use photography, sewing machines, printing, dyeing, and appliqué to design their own tapestry pieces. The work is inspired by nature and explores their personal experiences of society.
Other wonderful artworks made by children and adults from the Family Club and ScrapAntics community partnership projects will also be on display. Family Club brings New Scots and local families together through creative and outdoor activities.
And if you’re feeling artistic, you can also try family-friendly fabric-based art activities.
Refreshments are available. This event is FREE. Just drop in during the exhibition times to find out more.

About ScrapAntics CIC:
ScrapAntics facilitates Scotland’s circular economy through recycling industry and business waste into arts and design materials. Each year over 20 tonnes of industrial waste which would otherwise become landfill is transformed into creative and play resources for the community. We promote personal and social development through school and community creative play sessions and activities which engage families from both New Scots and Scots backgrounds.
Family Club is supported by the Scottish Government and European Union through AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) and the National Lottery Community Fund.
