Refugee Update Event

Organised by With Refugees Broughty Ferry (WRBF), a group set up under the auspices of and supported by Broughty Ferry Churches Group (BFCG), and affiliated to Scottish Faiths Action for Refugees (SFAfR).

The speakers include Sabine Chalmers (SFAfR) and Agi Szekely from Kalunba, a charity, supported by the Budapest Church of Scotland congregation, which works with refugees settling in Hungary.  WRBF and Kalunba are developing closer links and looking to ways of support and mutual awareness-raising.

ALL INTERESTED in welcome & support for refugees locally, nationally or internationally are welcome to this event.  Refreshments will be available.

Worship Consultation

We will look at Advent & Christmas worship, as well as any other items of relevance to our worship life.  Please give apologies, feedback, or material to Sue C.

Fellowship Group

The fellowship group had a good turn out when it first met on 30th September. We are happy for anyone else who wishes to join to come along!

Samuel Chorus concert

The Samuel Chorus will be holding their second concert in our church on 20th October, at 7pm,  following their successful one last November. Our premises, including the acoustics, were most appreciated by all family and friends who came.  All Marketgait folk are warmly invited.

Fellowship Group

The first meeting will take place on Monday 30thSeptember 7-9pm in ‘L’.  The plan is initially to meet for a time of fellowship; however the group may develop into other areas (eg craft, bible study……) depending on the wishes of those involved!

Craft Fair

Tables £10 each, but sharing can be arranged by negotiation.
There will be a ‘church’ table where smaller donated items will be welcomed.  Coffee, tea etc will be available and donated baked goods would be much appreciated.
