Morning worship arranged by the congregation – ‘unsung carols’
Morning worship
Christingle service
Including Sacrament of Holy Communion
Worship in Perth for all the 3 congregations of the East of Scotland Methodist Church, including Holy Communion.
Followed by Christmas Lunch. If you wish to attend, let Jenny, Lorna or Liz know by Friday 29th November 2024. A donation of £7 per head is suggested.
As Roseangle is not available, there will be no public Methodist worship in Dundee on 1st December 2024.
You are invited to view our YouTube worship, or perhaps join the congregation in the newly refurbished premises at St John’s Methodist Church, Arbroath.
Join Faith and Belief (Dundee and Tayside) for a walk around the labyrinth at Ninewells Hospital.
The event will include time for reflection over hot drinks and biscuits. Wear weather-appropriate clothing.
No booking required.
Would you like to hear unique stories about pilgrimages and retreats and be inspired? Join our next Interfaith Conversation Café.
You will get the opportunity to hear fascinating stories of your choice from our ‘Human Books’ about their life-transforming experience visiting world-renowned pilgrimage sites across the world, including Mecca in western Saudi Arabia, Santiago de Compostela in Spain, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur, Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in India, Holy Isle and Iona Abbey in Scotland, the Holy Land, and the important Buddha’s Life sites in Nepal and India.
We encourage participants who have visited a holy place or sacred site during your pilgrimage or retreat to bring one or two photos to share with others during the discussion session (a photo on your phone is good enough). Alternatively, you may also bring a photo of a holy place or a sacred site you wish to visit in the future.
This special event is planned by Interfaith Scotland as part of Scottish Interfaith Week, in collaboration with Faith and Belief (Dundee and Tayside).
