This year’s theme is “I beg you bear with one another”, using material from Christian women of Palestine.
(During my 17 years on Scottish WDP Committee, we frequently remarked on the relevance of the theme to current events, sometimes unexpectedly so – that relevance is particularly striking this year, Jenny)
On Sunday 3rd December we are unable to meet at Roseangle because of the Art Exhibition. As such, after discussion with Segun, we have arranged to meet in the white Dens Road church on the corner of Dens Road and Arthurstone Terrace. There is on street parking behind the church on Cunningham Street. The heating doesn’t work well so please wear warm clothing. There are toilets and a kitchen so we can have a cuppa. Segun and myself will lead the service together.

In the light of the continuing rain and floods, there will be no Methodist in-person worship in Dundee on 22 October 2023. The cancellation covers all churches in the circuit.
Rob Mackay has been accepted by the Preachers’ and Circuit Meetings, and will be formally admitted as a Methodist Local Preacher. This will take place at 3 pm on Sunday 15th October in Perth Methodist Church; this replaces the previously advertised event in Arbroath.
We are warmly encouraged to join in this celebration and offer our affirmation and prayers for Rob as he begins this new phase of ministry as a Local Preacher in the Methodist Church.
The Circuit’s churches have been invited to use the Methodist Advent Liturgy on the theme “There is room” and it will be incorporated into the Circuit digital YouTube services. See the varied material on offer.

On Sunday 11th September 2022, Methodists in Scotland will be concluding their Gathering in Perth.
At 11am, a communion service will be live-streamed from the Gathering.
There is also a pre-prepared non-communion service.
