DUNDEE METHODISTS IN THE CITY OF DISCOVERY
DISCOVERING GOD’S LOVE FOR ALL
We are a group of people of different ages, cultures and nationalities, bound together by our common desire to:
- worship God in praise and prayer
- discover more about the call to discipleship by engaging with the Bible in personal devotions and through shared study
- commit to social action and service in the community especially through sharing with those who may be marginalised or affected by social deprivation
- show, through all of this, that the love of Jesus Christ is for all people.
We welcome members and visitors who live, work or study in Dundee or the surrounding area including Fife, Angus and Perthshire, or are on holiday here.
We are founded in the Methodist tradition of worship, education and social concern – John Wesley first visited Dundee in 1759.
Dundee Methodists are part of the Angus, Dundee and Perthshire Methodist Circuit, belong to the Synod of the Methodist Church in Scotland, and are part of the Methodist Church in Britain.
