Epworth Old Rectory: Diamond Jubilee of public opening

In June, John and Charles Wesley's boyhood home marked 60 years of opening to the public.

Rebuilt after the fire of 1709, the Rectory provided accommodation for the Parish Church Rector until 1954 when it was sold.

After its subsequent acquisition and restoration under the auspices of the World Methodist Council, it was opened to the public and now attracts some 5000 visitors per year.
