Prisoners' Week 20th -27th November 2016

Prisoners Week is an opportunity to remember all who are affected by crime

  • those in prison
  • those who have been hurt by the actions of others
  • prison staff
  • families
  • wider communities.

It is an initiative of the churches that aims to stimulate discussion, highlight concerns and share hope.

The National Service takes place tomorrow (Monday) in St Margaret's Church, Stirling at 6.30pm.

“There are many kinds of prison, not only the ones with high fences, bars and locks. People can feel trapped by circumstances, pressurised by demands, locked down by fear, and limited by lack of opportunity.”

For more information, see www.prisonersweek.org.uk and resources on this year's theme Remember me.
