Changes to Meetings on 'The Church and Marriage'
The planned Open Meeting on Wednesday 28th October
is cancelled and the extra Circuit Meeting on Thursday 12th
November
may now NOT take place, as the preparation of material
and training of facilitators is not yet complete.
Singing the Faith
It has been agreed that Dundee should proceed with the purchase
of Singing the Faith, towards which funds can be allocated from
legacies and donations in memory of two former Choir members;
the Church Stewards will oversee the placing of this Order.
The Stewards are to agree the editions and quantities for
the Church's order at our meeting this week. If you wish
to order a personal copy as part of the bulk order, please
sign the paper on the vestibule table or advise Jenny
Easson as soon as possible.

Current costs are as follows:
- Words edition (hardback) - £10.00
- Large print words edition (hardback) - £18.00
- Music edition (hardback) - £30.00
- Presentation edition - £50.00 - leather-bound, fine paper,
60% of the weight of the music edition
- Also the words Kindle edition from Amazon - £9.50
A discount may be available for some print copies.
Several useful comments have been given to the
Stewards about numbers to order for general availability,
especially for music and large print editions.
Please send the Minister or Stewards any more
suggestions or comments before we meet on Thursday
afternoon if possible.
International Bible Reading Association
IBRA devotional and study material can be ordered through
Heather. Please sign the paper on the vestibule table
or contact Heather direct.

Support other Organisations
Scottish Bible Society
Our support via the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in October
for work in the Philippines. Our prayerful attention this week is drawn to
- the marking of Bible Sunday today;
- SBS display at the Baptist Union Assembly;
- talks and feedback from the SBS recent visit to Rwanda;
- visits by Bibleworld Mobile in Argyll.
Copies of “Active and Alive”, the SBS magazine,
are now here - see Jenny Easson for an ordered or spare copy.
