Changes to Meetings on 'The Church and Marriage'

The planned Open Meeting on Wednesday 28th October is cancelled and the extra Circuit Meeting on Thursday 12th November may now NOT take place, as the preparation of material and training of facilitators is not yet complete.

Singing the Faith

It has been agreed that Dundee should proceed with the purchase of Singing the Faith, towards which funds can be allocated from legacies and donations in memory of two former Choir members; the Church Stewards will oversee the placing of this Order. The Stewards are to agree the editions and quantities for the Church's order at our meeting this week. If you wish to order a personal copy as part of the bulk order, please sign the paper on the vestibule table or advise Jenny Easson as soon as possible.

Details of the editions available can be seen online at www.methodistpublishing.org.uk.

Current costs are as follows:

  • Words edition (hardback) - £10.00
  • Large print words edition (hardback) - £18.00
  • Music edition (hardback) - £30.00
  • Presentation edition - £50.00 - leather-bound, fine paper, 60% of the weight of the music edition
  • Also the words Kindle edition from Amazon - £9.50

A discount may be available for some print copies.

Several useful comments have been given to the Stewards about numbers to order for general availability, especially for music and large print editions. Please send the Minister or Stewards any more suggestions or comments before we meet on Thursday afternoon if possible.

International Bible Reading Association

IBRA devotional and study material can be ordered through Heather. Please sign the paper on the vestibule table or contact Heather direct.
