11 am
Worship led by Mr Charles Richmond

We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.

Ministerial Cover

Our thoughts and prayers continue for the Rev Mary Patterson who is not undertaking ministerial duties for health reasons. If there is a pastoral need for a Minister, please contact either the Rev Gerald Bostock or the Rev Jean Murrie. We prayerfully remember them and other Circuit Leadership Team members working on behalf of the Circuit with the Rev Lily Twist (Chair of District and acting Superintendent).

The Sound System Saga

It is now hoped that the recent problems have all been identified and resolved. However, the (old) radio mike is proving incompatible with the installed system and cannot be used. Circuit Preachers have been notified accordingly

Advice about the new system has been circulated to Stewards and other likely users, but everyone is asked to note that the controls have been set and should not be altered - all that is required is to switch on at the wall plug inside the cupboard. However, to use the CD player, please follow directions given (if uncertain, ask a Steward or Dennis) - remember that the key word / colour is “green”.

A Search for Santa

A stallholder in the Forum (formerly Keillor) Centre, seeking assistance in recruiting 'Santa Helpers' during the Festive Season. Contact Elaine Harris on 079822422338.

Open Circuit Meeting

There will be a Circuit Meeting on WEDNESDAY 28th NOVEMBER at 7.00 pm in Dundee Methodist Church.

Since one of the principal items of business will be the continuing consideration of the 'Single Circuit' proposal for the Methodist Church in Scotland, this will be an 'open' meeting for all those members in the circuit who might wish to attend. The Rev Lily Twist, our Chair of District, will be at the meeting.

The next Circuit Meeting thereafter in early 2013 will be asked to take and record a vote on the proposal.

David Cowling, Senior Circuit Steward

Andy Jackson - and His Moustache

“November is MOVEMBER month, when men of a certain age decide to forego modern fashion conventions and grow a moustache, for one month only, in support of men's health (specifically prostate & testicular cancer).

If anyone would like to sponsor me this month, I have a page at http://mobro.co/azjackson where you can make a donation. I also accept donations in cash if preferred.

I am also open to suggestions on the type of moustache to go for. Examples of a variety of styles can be found at http://kikeinosocks.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/moustaches-types.jpg?w=510.

Please bear in mind that I need to preserve a certain degree of dignity, so I'm unlikely to opt for a Fu Manchu or the full RAF Handlebar.

Many thanks to you for reading - I hope you will be moved to make a donation, however large.”
