11 am
Worship led by Mr David Cowling

We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.

“Trial Service”

Please note that worship on Sunday 20th May will now be led by Mrs Beryl Cowling and not Mrs Jenni Whittle, as indicated on the preaching Plan. This will be a reported Service prior to consideration at the Preachers' Meeting that Beryl be placed “On Trial” (the next stage in training).

Café Service material

It was suggested that the 'Psalms' written during last Sunday's Café Worship should be made more generally available, possibly in wee booklet form and on the website. Wait for more news on this!

General Church Meeting

This will be on Saturday 19th May from 10am (coffee); please note the date now. The business of the Meeting includes election of Church Stewards and representatives from the congregation to the Church Council. Nominations should be given to the Rev Mary Patterson or Margaret Goudie (Church Council Secretary).

Synod

Warm thanks are expressed to those who assisted in any way with the hosting of Synod last weekend. Acknowledgement is made of the assistance at Central Baptist Church Dundee where the Representative Session met on Saturday and for the use of the High School of Dundee's car park.

Riverside Blairgowrie anniversary

Our Circuit Colleagues draw our attention to their forthcoming 125th anniversary celebrations, being arranged for the weekend of Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th August. They will be grateful for our support at planned events and also for loan of any memorabilia and/or sharing of memories of Blairgowrie Methodism. Please contact Rev Jean Murrie or a Blairgowrie Steward to offer help.
