Beryl 'On Note'

Worship next Sunday is to be led by Marcia Mackenzie, appointed Mentor, and Beryl Cowling, training to become a Local Preacher. The recent Preachers' Meeting agreed that Beryl start her formal training “On Note”, accompanying and sharing the leading of worship with her Mentor. We assure Beryl of the support of the Dundee congregation in her leading of worship and her studies.

Bible Groups

As the “Year of the Bible” comes to an end, Tom Penman is consulting those who have attended the two Groups - and any others - about continuing ways of sharing insights and study of Scripture. Please contact Tom with thoughts and suggestions for 2012.

Mission Aviation Fellowship

MAF is a “dynamic Christian organisation” operating more than 135 aircraft over 35 countries in the developing world, flying across some of the most hostile country to reach the most isolated people. MAF works in partnership with over 1,000 other organisations in the fields of disaster relief, health care, education and development.

  • Every 3 minutes one of MAF's fleet of light aircraft takes off or lands somewhere in the world;
  • airfield conditions are often described as “arduous”;
  • aircraft maintenance, equipment and skills are vital;
  • staff include pilots, engineers, administrators - plus volunteer supporters “in the field” and “at home”.

The work of MAF began more or less simultaneously in the UK and the USA in 1945/6, with Australia soon after. Since then there has been steady expansion.
