Scottish Churches House Prayer Network

Prayers are invited this week for events in the House, including Methodist Meeting on Thursday, and for the processes of governance change and appointment of a Director.

Scottish Bible Society

/Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in March for work in Jamaica and in April for work in Ethiopia. See noticeboard for more information. Our prayerful attention is drawn this week to

  • Bible translation work and development of Bible work in Guyana and French Guiana;
  • 'Mission Bangladesh' project to encourage involvement in mission, with an ultimate aim for 20,000 missionaries.
  • 9 translation projects in Ethiopia where the whole Bible exists in only 4 out of 70+ languages;
  • victims of January floods in Peru, being provided with food and Scriptures, with Scottish support.
