We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.

News from Heather in South Africa

Heather has managed to maintain fairly regular contact with family and friends by e-mail and is receiving our news-sheet items on-line to keep her in touch with our doings.

If you wish to read her news, please note the following:

  • printed version of her Letters & Blog available in Marketgait Office (plastic pocket on noticeboard);
  • notify Jenny Easson if you wish electronic updates as they arrive;
  • Heather's pages on this website - for passwords contact the webmaster.

Heather would no doubt be pleased to hear from Marketgait (and other) friends by e-mail. Even a short chatty or simple message of greeting is welcomed by those far from home, as was said by Barry & Chris Parkin on their return to Perth from Namibia where they served with VSO.

Rotary Shoe Boxes

“Last year many members helped us to fill and send Shoe Boxes to Romania, Croatia, and the Ukraine. 1460 boxes were delivered through Spurgeons in Tinaud, Romania, to children, young people and their families. This year we are hoping to increase the number of boxes we can fill and they will be available to collect from the foyer. Filled boxes must be returned by today, Sunday 15th November” (Alan Suttie)

Further advice with the boxes or ask Alan (01337 857100).
