Dundee Nablus Twinning Association - urgent plea for help!
Mary Henderson, Secretary of DNTA, has circulated the following request :
Some years ago two Dundee Primary schools in Dundee amalgamated, and the library of one was put into a Dundee City Council store. Many of these books constitute a complete English language programme, and visitors from Nablus have said they would love to have them - that such books are unobtainable in Palestine. We have tried to find a way of sending out the books, so far without success.
Now Dundee CC has said that the store is required for other purposes; we have a 2-week deadline for finding a new home for the books* while we continue to seek an affordable means of transport.
Can anyone help with this problem? Does anyone have a dry garage,
store, loft or something? If you can help please contact
Mary.
* Details of quantity from Mary, Jenny or David.
