“café-style” focus and approach. Please note
- coffee will be available from 10.45 am
- offers of baking / items to supplement biscuits should be made to Jenny
- other offers to help with serving before, during and after worship can be made to Jenny or Paddy

Coffee Morning for Enable
Sue Marshall, Chairperson of the Link Club, is planning to undertake a sponsored Cycle Ride in India during November to raise funds for Enable (the leading charity for learning disabilities in Scotland, to which the Link Club is affiliated).
To support Sue, a fund-raising Coffee Morning will be held in Marketgait next Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon. Tickets (£1 adults, 50p children) are available from Link Club helpers or at the door on the day. There will be stalls and various games -support is warmly invited, including donations of books and wrapped home baking for the stall.

Support other Organisations
Scottish Bible Society
Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in August for work
in Egypt. See library area noticeboard for more information. Our prayerful
attention is drawn this week to
- opportunities for distribution of Scriptures to both Roman Catholics and Protestants in Vietnam;
- 40 years of Bible Society work in Cambodia despite difficult challenges;
- completion and dedication of the revised common language New Testament in Lao, also continuing work of translation team in Laos;
- representation at the United Free Church of Scotland conference in Stirling next Saturday.
