Today is the third session in the series to explore issues of faith and its presentation. Grahame Lockhart will lead worship and the subsequent conversation over a faith lunch - ALL are welcome to stay and share thoughts and experiences together.
Pentecost Walk
Broughty Ferry Churches Group invite friends to join in the now annual Pentecost Walk this afternoon round the centre of “the Ferry”. The Walk will start from St Luke's & Queen Street church at 2 pm and proceed along Brook Street, with pauses for prayer at appropriate sites. Refreshments will be served in St Luke's Hall between 3 pm and 3.45 pm. For further details, contact Anne Anderson on (01382) 738620.
Broughty Ferry Pulpit Exchange
This year's Pulpit Exchange has been arranged for Trinity Sunday instead of during
the Unity Octave in January. We will welcome the Rev Dr John Cameron of St Stephen's &
West Church of Scotland to Marketgait next Sunday. Keith Pearson will lead worship at Broughty
Ferry New Kirk and Jenny Easson in St Stephen's & West.

Scottish Bible Society
Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in May for work in Bangladesh and in June for work in Albania. See library area noticeboard.
Our prayerful attention is drawn this week to:
- translation of the 'Good News' into modern Albanian;
- holistic project to distribute medicines & Scriptures to indigenous health centres in Argentina;
- programmes in children's homes, drug rehab centres, & edge-of-town encampments in Chile; also the new General Secretary of the Bible Society;
- funding for children's projects in Belarus, also continuing work among Chernobyl victims.

1807 Slave Trade Abolition Act.
The National Trust for Scotland is holding an Open Day
at Blantyre for the occasion and all are welcome to this event. Some idea of numbers will be useful, to assist with parking

Circuit day out hosted by Arbroath and Blairgowrie churches.
Plans include a barbecue lunch, then “fun and games” before
tea in the afternoon.
We are invited to bring
- ourselves - families - friends
- picnic rug or chair to sit on (if possible)
- donation for 'cake & pudding table'.
A nominal charge will be made to cover the barbecue costs, but drinks
& 'cake & pudding' will be free to everyone.

wish to go - by 10th June if possible. We could try to coordinate
travel.
