20 May 2007
Next Sunday: 27 May 2007 Pentecost - Growing From the Inside Out
- 11 am
- Worship led by the Rev Grahame Lockhart
We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.
Growing From The Inside Out
Next Sunday is the third session in the series, to explore issues of
faith and its presentation. Grahame Lockhart will lead worship and the
subsequent conversation over a faith lunch - all are welcome to stay
and share thoughts and experiences together. It might be helpful
to have had some thought before on “What is the Good News of
Jesus?”

“World's End to Mow Cop” - walking for World Mission
Methodist Church Coordinating Secretaries, Anthea Cox & Jonathan
Kerry, are to walk the 50 miles from World's End in Wales to Mow Cop
near Stoke-on-Trent next weekend. As the Walk is to commemorate the
200th anniversary of the birth of Primitive Methodist at Mow Cop,
they will wear early 19th century costume and, by walking, follow the
tradition of early 'Prim Preachers' who walked many miles to take
Services. They aim to reach Mow Cop in time for the Celebration
Service at 2.30 pm next Sunday. They hope also to raise money for
the Fund for World Mission - hence the start at World's End! Sponsorship
