We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.
General Church Meeting
Worship today starts at 10.45 am to provide the context for GCM business, including discussion about our present and future witness as Methodist people based in Marketgait, Dundee. As it is important that everyone has the opportunity to take part, there will be provision for child-care upstairs.
Growing From the Inside Out
The final session will be led next Sunday by Grahame Lockhart and Jean Murrie.
Conversation will again continue over a faith lunch to which all are welcome and will conclude with a shared Act of Commitment.
Preacher's Long Service
We share the sentiments of the Circuit Preachers who will mark Keith Pearson's 40 years as a Local Preacher by the presentation of the Connexional Long Service Certificate at their Meeting on Thursday.

| Saturday 16th June 3 pm | David Livingstone Centre, Blantyre | Action of Churches Together in Scotland Ecumenical Service to mark the 200th anniversary of the
1807 Slave Trade Abolition Act.
The National Trust for Scotland is holding an Open Day at Blantyre for the occasion and all are welcome to this event. Some idea of numbers will be useful, to assist with parking and other arrangements: please contact Tom Moyes at ACTS (01259 216980) if you hope to go. |

Bible Society
Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in June for work in Albania. See library area noticeboard.
Our prayerful attention is drawn this week to :
- BibleWorld SBS studio visit to Newport-on-Tay this week;
- new Bible revision project in Hungary, fresh initiatives for work with the Roman Catholic Church;
- work among prisoners in Poland;
- 'Crossover' Christian youth festival at West Linton;
- reunion weekend for senior United Bible Societies staff in Carberry Tower, Musselburgh.
