Please note that Ministerial pastoral care in Dundee from Monday 2nd July to Sunday 8th July inclusive will be by the Rev David Firth. From this Friday to the following Friday, the Church Pastoral Secretary will be in Blackpool during Conference.

Notice has been received that the excavation works “within the footway on Marketgait” and affecting Long Wynd will last for some 6 weeks.

Support other Organisations
Bible Society
Our support through the Bible-a-Month Club is invited in July for work in Bolivia, including distribution to students and teachers in schools in La Paz and Cochabamba. See library area noticeboard.
Our prayerful attention is drawn this week to :
- opportunities for distribution of Scriptures in Afghanistan;
- safe arrival of 1600 copies of the long-awaited pocket-sized Myanmar Bible, with more to come;
- computerisation of the Urdu Bible text;
- production this year of the New Persian translation;
- openings for work among the aboriginal peoples of the mountainous regions of Taiwan.
