Pray Without Ceasing : latest news

More than 8,000 hours of prayer have been logged up by PWC events at the halfway point of the 14-month initiative.

PWC has not been confined to churches:

in London South-East, prison chaplains joined the rota and reported 30 hours of prayer from prisons, Young Offender institutes, and the Dover Immigration Removal Centre.

Other events have taken place in schools and homes; an increase in Quiet Days and retreats is also noted.

“The quality of our caring and witness can only be enhanced by time spent consciously in the presence of God.”

(Michaela Youngson, Connexional Secretary for Pastoral Care & Spirituality)
