We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.
General Church Meeting
Our Worship today begins at 10.45 am and is arranged to include opportunity for sharing thoughts about our life together and necessary GCM business. Everyone is welcome to this time of worship, conversation and planning. Provision is being made for children to remain upstairs so that everyone may be included throughout.

Pentecost Prayer Walk. Broughty Ferry Churches Group invite you to join the Walk at St Luke's & Queen Street at 2.30 pm
and returning there for refreshments c 3.30 - 4 pm. Prayers will be led at appropriate

Lecture series - “Jesus as Theologian”. Dr Kenneth E Bailey (Pittsburgh, USA) will be
visiting St Mary's Broughty Ferry for
the week 4th - 11th June. He will preach at Sung Eucharist on the Sundays and during the
week give a series of lectures on the above theme. A warm invitation is extended to everyone
to the (free) lectures from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm with
a short following discussion. See poster on noticeboard for information on speaker and topics.

“Fresh Expressions” : following the District Day and Circuit Meeting in March,
it was agreed to hold an open evening for everyone in the Circuit's 5 congregations to view the
“Fresh Expressions” DVD and continue conversations about “ways of being
church”. This is an opportunity to reflect widely about our calling as members of the whole church and
in our own communities. Please think carefully and prayerfully about coming - then do!

Coffee Morning for the Link Club The Link Club is in the process of replacing their Minibus and
some of us felt that the congregation would like an opportunity to show their support
by helping with the fund-raising. So, a Coffee Morning has been arranged. Please come along and support this event and enjoy a coffee (or tea)
and a chat. Items (wrapped) for a Cake / Candy stall would be appreciated. Tickets on sale
