Holiday Pastoral arrangementsPlease note that from today to 24th July, notice of urgent pastoral need should be made direct to the Rev Mary Patterson and / or the Rev David Firth, and also intimated to a Church Steward or Pastoral Visitor. Other requests for ministerial care can be made direct or via a Church Steward or Pastoral Visitor. Roadworks by the ChurchA letter has been received from Scotland Gas Networks, advising us of “essential gas maintenance work”, scheduled to start on Monday 18th July and be completed within 13 weeks. One effect of this will be on traffic, as follows :
Dundee City Council has asked Scottish Water to programme water mains renewal work at the same time and the works related to realignment of South Marketgait (now “Western Road”) also continue. There is a copy of the letter and enclosed map on the downstairs noticeboard. Meetings this week

The Appeal Letter from Jeanette Allen (House Committee Convener) and Alison Elliot (ACTS Convener) seeks financial pledges by early August to ensure the financial viability of the House for the next two years, to allow seeking of ways to ensure the House’s longer-term sustainable financial security.
