Easter Offering – ‘Creating a Just Community’

Envelopes in support of this annual Appeal are still available, for return via the offering plate today and in the next few weeks.

It would help if you could indicate changes to the rota on the sheet provided – in the upstairs office for Church Stewards and in the library area for door stewards and coffee organisers.

Support other Organisations

Scottish Bible Society

In April our support is invited for work in Pakistan, a Muslim country, where festivals or melas are used as opportunities to share God’s Word – see library area noticeboard.

In these weeks our prayerful attention is drawn particularly to

  • newly-published New Testament and ‘Christian ABC’ in Belarus;
  • work with Armenian young people;
  • work in Georgia, where a new Government has been installed;
  • the young Bible Society in Romania, working with people with particular needs;
  • work with churches in Greece and Bulgaria, especially for staff involved in distribution;
  • the long and supportive relationship in Scotland (and elsewhere) with the World Day of Prayer movement, as WDP Scotland marks its 75th anniversary with celebrations in April;
