We give the assurance of our thoughts and prayers to all who are unwell, awaiting or undergoing treatment, or anxious or grieving for the loss of loved ones.
Childrens Vigil for Peace
A multi-faith Childrens Vigil for Peace will take place in the City Square this afternoon (16 March) from 3 pm to 3.30 pm. There will be readings, and balloons will be set off. It is understood that children will need to be accompanied by responsible adult(s).
Dundee Choral Union Spring Concert
Bachs St John Passion, 16th March at 7.30 pm in the Caird Hall; tickets at the door.
Upkeep of our premises
During this week there may still be painting of parts of our premises; it is hoped this will not inconvenience User groups. Sandy Laurie is our Link with the contractors.
Circuit Meeting Report
- The meeting unanimously endorsed a recommendation that Marcia Mackenzie be admitted as a Local Preacher
— the Circuit Commissioning Service will be in Perth on Sunday 13th April at 3 pm:
please plan to support Marcia then.
- A vote was taken, by direction of Conference, on An Anglican — Methodist Covenant
(anent talks with the Church of England).
- A vote was taken on a Memorial to Conference, requesting that the Connexional Network President
be an ex-officio member of Conference.
- Dundees reps to the Circuit meeting are tricia and Clare — contact them for news or to give them your views.
